don't tease me
Bacon Chips - I was excited
The chips actually look like those on the bag, only they don't taste like bacon at all. They taste like wheat and flour. I'm wondering why go to the trouble of creating a strip of bacon if the chips aren't going to taste like bacon.
Wait, is it a cookie or a chip?
I might have to call the snack food association for some clarification.
profit loss
A queen versus a president (with the word liberty above his head no less), there's your history lesson, Bobby.
Despite the fact that a Canadian quarter (0.252) is now worth more than a US quarter (0.25), I still can't use Canadian quarters in the washers and dryers in my apartment complex.
The management is loosing money.
I remember signs on the toll booths in Maine when I younger that said, "Canadian Currency devalued 30%". Oh how the tide has turned.
Las Vegas, NV
The leg was in Las Vegas, for few weeks of work. Here are some photos.
Just some guys I met.
Larry
Moe
Curley
The fellas in action
Look closely, who knew that the Rialto Bridge had an escalator on it. That must have been Da Vinci or Michelangelo's doing, truely men ahead of their time.
Pink Las Vegas sunrise. I'm sure the majority of visitors have never seen one, unless they are still up from the night before.
Waterfall at the Wynn. People, myself included are drawn to to the waterfall, like the statues. Unlike the statues, I kept my trousers on and viewed the cascade from the observation deck.
I tried to go to the Ferrari dealership in the Wynn, only they charge $10 to get in, but wait before you get all up in arms, the $10 is good towards your photo in a Ferrari. Towards!? How much is the photo? I balked at the admission price and looked in from the front door.
Look closely Virgina, that's astroturf. "Ah, Bob you wanna get somebody to go vacuum the south lawn."
Venice Beach, CA ~ 12/15/07
I've always wanted to make a coffee table book with photos of the bizarre things people transport with their motorcycles. Bambi and the Biker, would definitely make the book.
I was suppose to pick up a mannequin leg in downtown LA (for the purpose of making a traveling bar)for a friend a few years ago. At the time my only source of transport was my motorcycle. The leg photo was to be the cover shot for the book.

Ugly
That's the way things are going to get when the, Mitchell Report (steroids & baseball) is unveiled on Thursday.
ESPN is planning six hours (1-6pm/EST) of coverage. Six hours!?
"The sources would not reveal the names of players included in the report, but confirmed that as many as 80 are listed. One lawyer expected several "very, very high-level names" to be exposed,"-ESPN
And yet for some reason . . .
Billy Chapel: The game doesn't stink, Mr. Wheeler. It's a great game.
Gus Sinski: You just throw whatever you got, whatever's left. The boys are all here for you. We're gonna be awesome for you right now!

Petrino resigns as Falcons coach, takes Arkansas job
Atlanta Falcon's Safety Lawyer Milloy wrote Coward across Petrino's letter. I've always loved Lawyer Milloy. I was frustrated by the handling of his release by the Patriots in 2003.
"Out of my respect for you, I am letting you know that, with a heavy heart, I resigned today as Head Coach of the Atlanta Falcons. This decision was not easy but was made in the best interest of me and my family."
Respect!? For a grown man to post a letter on the player's day off informing them of his resignation is cowardly, to happily accept the Arkansas job the same day shows a total lack judgment and character. Respect? You have no concept. I hope somehow, someway the Falcons win their last three games without you.
Falcon fans shouldn't weep for Petrino's departure, with character (or lack there of) like that it's best that Petrino is gone. Good luck to Arkansas. How sure can Arkansas athletic director Frank Broyles, be that Petrino will stick out his five year ($2.85 million/year) contract? After all he walked after just 13 games (3-10) as the Falcon's coach and prior to that he walked out on Louisville six months after signing a ten year contract extension.
"He preached team and he preached family and then he quit on us. That's not what a man does."
~Atlanta Falcons Quarterback Joey Harrington on former head coach Bobby Petrino's departure
"This league is not for everybody. This league is for real men. I think he realized he didn't belong here."
~Falcons Safety Lawyer Milloy.
Again, Lawyer you rock.
I'd say that on his travels Coach Petrino should try to avoid Hartsfield International Airport (ATL), cause Bobby, you ran away like a scared child.
