you lost

"It's not fair! It's just not fair!"

"I want to thank Sen. Lieberman for his campaign," Lamont said. "I want to thank him for the dignity and decency in which he has represented our state and our country, for many, many years.

Dignity and decency have since both left.

Senator, what exactly is your reasoning on entering the race as an independent?

"The old politics of partisan polarization won today. For the sake of our state, our country and my party, I cannot, I will not let this result stand."

What? Sake of your party? You have no party. You're an independent.

Lieberman said, "We've just finished the first half and the Lamont team is ahead, but, in the second half, our team -- Team Connecticut -- is going to surge forward to victory in November"

Hun? Second half, foward? You do realize the point of a primary is to select one canidate from amongst many?

"I'm worried that too many people, both in politics and out, don't appreciate the seriousness of the threat to American security and the evil of the enemy that faces us -- more evil or as evil as Nazism and probably more dangerous than the Soviet communists we fought during the long Cold War," Lieberman said.

Oh we appreciate it Joe. It's your reaction to and handling of it that people have a problem with.

Seems like, you put your faith in the democractic process, there is a vote and an outcome. You might not win, that's why they call it a race.
